Let me tell you something. I was born to a heterosexual couple. They divorced when I was 3, because my dad was abusive. My mother, ended up partying and being an alcoholic during my whole childhood. She was mentally abusive, and sometimes physically. She taught me NOTHING about growing up. I spent my whole childhood wanting to escape her and wanting a real mom or dad that loved me. If a child has 2 loving parents, even one.... that child will do well.
