Ask Denene: Three's a crowd
Q: Every time my husband and I try to hug or kiss, our son runs between us and joins in. Do we have to get our TLC behind closed doors?
By Denene Millner, Parenting
Seriously? Enjoy the sloppy kisses and group hugs while you've got 'em coming. Way sooner than you'd expect, your little boy is going to be a big boy, too cool to give hugs and kisses. Before you start missing them, enjoy them. And sure, if you didn't embrace in front of him, he wouldn't horn in -- but it's a good thing for your child to see: To him, all is right when his parents are getting along. Just get some extra-special loving while he's napping or off playing; there's plenty for everyone. Ask Mom Squad expert Denene Millner your trickiest parenting questions at Parenting.com/momsquad. |
