Baby Pea in a Pod Costume

This cute costume starts with an oversize sweatshirt -- no sewing needed!

For this costume, you'll need:
  • hot glue or fabric glue
  • scissors
  • tape measure

1. Cut sleeves off a green sweatshirt. Turn in armholes and glue raw edges.

2. Glue five green foam balls (or paint white ones) in different sizes down the middle of a 24-inch square of green felt. Gather in the sides and fold back. Pinching the top and bottom into a canoe shape, glue pod to center front of sweatshirt.

3. Make two leaf shapes out of green felt and glue at neckline.

4. Hat: Measure child's head and cut a sweatshirt sleeve to fit. Wrap a green pipe cleaner around the top to create stem.
