"This is Ellie's first Halloween, and it was very special for me to be able to make her costume this year as my mom always made my costumes growing up. My idea for her Halloween costume seemed perfect for two reasons: 1. Ellie really enjoys the song about bees in her music class. 2. All the bees in our garden loved Ellie this past summer (maybe because she is so sweet!). This is Ellie and her dog Tola wearing a flower costume -- which was initially made for me to wear, however for Halloween photos to send to the family, the costume was cuter on the dog!"
