Never underestimate the power of prunes. Even after my daughter was well into solid foods, I kept organic baby food prunes in the cabinet in case she got a little stopped up.
Apple juice is another one that will help get things flowing, but not applesauce. Applesauce and banana, among others, will actually cause constipation.
Lots of water too. The more hydrated, the less constipation. Probiotics are a good idea too. Keeps that good bacteria in their tummy to help aid in digestion.
