any one every been tested for tay sachs?

Me and my bf are both half french canadian so i had to been tested to see if i was a carrier for tay sachs disease. If i am then he has to be tested to . Has any one every had to get tested for this? or have you heard of any babies with this deadly disease?

I am all french canadian and I got tested for it and it came back negative. This is going to be my 5th baby and none of them have it and I have never met anyone who has had a baby with it. Good luck! I'm sure everything is going to be fine.

i havent got tested for it im cherokee indian  i have no french canadian in me
