Sometimes it's nice to get advice from experts with a lot of letter degrees behind their names, but other times, you just need to hear what another parent (with a M.O.M. behind her name) has done that has worked. You've got questions? These moms have answers.

Can you be on birthcontrol and breastfeed at the same time or will the birthcontrol mess with the milk?

just talk to your doc at the 6 week apt... there is certain types of birth control pills that you can take that wont affect the milk.. but as soon as you stop breastfeeding you have to switch to the other ones.. they went through it with me at our 6 week visit and prescribed me one..I just cant remember the name sorry =)

it also depends on what you are having...I had 2 little boys previously and had to be on low dose because of the estrogen and breastfeeding.  what you intake so does your little one.  if you are having a girl it shouldn't be an issue, but with boys it will probably be low dose.
