Sometimes it's nice to get advice from experts with a lot of letter degrees behind their names, but other times, you just need to hear what another parent (with a M.O.M. behind her name) has done that has worked. You've got questions? These moms have answers.

Tums!  Tell your doctor you're having heart burn.  She'll tell you to take Tums (or Zantac if it's more servere). :)

TUMS!!!  I've also heard that bananas help, but mostly it's the tums!

A no-drugs solution is simple. Chew gum! The saliva calms the acid down in your esophagus for a while. It worked for me :)

I've been experiencing heart burn in the middle of the night, so I know how you feel! Tums definitely do they trick for me as does drinking a glass of milk. I recently read something that mentioned drinking a glass of water or something to make you salivate works as well. Good luck!
