I asked my Dr. the same question after I experienced a chemical pregnancy.  He said that since I did not have to undergo a surgery (D&C) that it was safe to try again the next month.  I had been on birth control pills for 10 years before we started trying and it was two months after we started trying that I had a positive pregnancy test and then the miscarriage a week later.  Three months after that I had another positive pregnancy test, and am now very excited to have made it to 20 weeks with our first baby.  Don't get discouraged if it doesn't happen right away...great things take time:)  Good luck!

I experienced a chemical pregnancy a little over a year and a half ago. My Dr. told me because I opted against a DNC, it was okay to try after one period. I wasn't ready emotionally after my first period, but each person handles things differently. Good luck!
