At how many weeks can I deliver my second baby by C-Section?

My first pregnancy I deliverd by C-section, now with my second pregnancy I don't know when the baby would be delivered, Is it true that it has to be a week before the due date or how far back can i choose the delivery day?

I have to have C-Sections (previously had 2 and currently 4months pregnant) and my doctor never lets me go more than 2 weeks before my due date. It could be dangerous for the babies immune system and lung development. So I say no less than 38 weeks. :)

I forgot to add one thing that could be helpful. My son (first born) was delivered by emergency c-section because I had Toxemia and he had to stay in the NICU for a week because his lungs weren't fully developed. So definitely 38 weeks or more.
