I just lost my baby to E coli sepsis so they say i think it was GBS. do u think i shuld try and have another baby rite away???

I just lost my baby to E coli sepsis so they say i think it was GBS. do u think i shuld try and have another baby rite away???

and also do u think my next baby could have one of these infections???

Did you lose to miscarriage? I have been tested positive with GBS and have had a perfectly normal pregnancy. So your doctors may be right. However, whether or not you choose to have another baby is entirely up to you and your spouse. Its perfectly normal to want to fill the void. However, if you do try again just make sure your doing it without stress. And no GBS can be treated easily before your baby comes and E Coli is from poor food preperation.

I'm sorry to hear about your lost. And, I'm not sure what GBS is. However, I misscarried (twins) in late January and I am now 7 weeks pregnant. They really say it's about your emotional state. I know my pregnancy will not replace my lost and I do become emotional at times. But, mentally and physically I am ready. Therfore, I would suggest you listen to your doctors, your mind, and your body. Good luck and take care.

Thankz to both of u ladies and my baby was born April 18th 2010 and she was 3 pounds and 15 ounces she was good when she came out but they told me i had to have my baby cuz i had precalapsea (i think thats how i spell it) but i wasnt due till May 24th... i really dnt konw but i really want a baby just dnt knw when to start.

i had a baby february 18, 2009 they induced me 3 1/2 months early due to the babies kidney problems. I didnt rush rite out to get to pregnant i waited a year and a half and now i am 5 weeks pregnant. After i had my son i couldnt even look at another baby so like on of the ladies said before it depends on your emotional state.
