Sometimes it's nice to get advice from experts with a lot of letter degrees behind their names, but other times, you just need to hear what another parent (with a M.O.M. behind her name) has done that has worked. You've got questions? These moms have answers.

You may read that you might want to stay away from shellfish while pregnant, but I ate lots of different shellfish and fish with both pregnancies. I didn't end up with any complications, my babies were healthy and on- time, and my two year old is a typical two year old.  You should be fine, just always make sure that whatever you're eating is fully cooked so that you won't get sick, and if anything ever smells or looks funny, go ahead and throw it away- better to be safe than sorry!

I have been looking and I can't find anything saying that you can't have crab legs while pregnant.  I would stay clear or any seafood that isn't cooked though, like stefanies has already stated.  If I was you I would discuss it with my ob doctor though.
