Sometimes it's nice to get advice from experts with a lot of letter degrees behind their names, but other times, you just need to hear what another parent (with a M.O.M. behind her name) has done that has worked. You've got questions? These moms have answers.

I would definitely say that if the dr is telling you that its possible then it is. I had heard there is a small chance that it could happen but I don't personally know anyone it has happened to. I would assume that you would tell the same way as if you hadn't had your tubes tied. If you are concerned then take a test. I don't think I would worry about it though. I hope all turns out the way you want it to. Good luck :)

I've heard of a few people that this has happened to. My mom says that it happened to one of her aunts and that the only way to actually prevent this is to get them burned but I don't know for sure. I'm only 21 and I'm not planning to do any of that any time soon so I have not done the research on it myself.

This happened to my cousin two years ago. She had her tubes tied after her second child. When that child was about 1 1/2 and started exercising to lose weight. Shortly then after she started feeling funny(preg symptoms). Went to the doctor and sure enough she was pregnant.
