Sometimes it's nice to get advice from experts with a lot of letter degrees behind their names, but other times, you just need to hear what another parent (with a M.O.M. behind her name) has done that has worked. You've got questions? These moms have answers.

Is it bad if I get pregnant so soon?

J/w any of you moms get pregnant right after a miscarriage and everything be okay? I know it's mainly a big deal because they want to use your LMP, but with my miscarriage pregnancy they just made one up for me because they used their educated guess for how far along the baby was. I figure they will do so again anyway. I am just curious if it's bad or not? Or if it can cause it to be a miscarriage also? We are not trying, but I would like some reassurance as a "just in case" because we have had condoms break on us, and when we can we would like to try. Just want to play things safe. Any help would be great thankyou:))

i would wait atleast 2 months at the least because ur uterus needs to become strong again..if u get pregnant to soon then it will be less likely to be able to hold a baby..ask ur doctor to be sure tho because i know some docs say wait a month but i feel thats way to soon and i know someone that lost a baby that way..go on bc for a few months and then try again if that what u guys agree on..hope this helps

After my miscarriage we were to wait 6 weeks beofer having sex and 3 months before trying again. You need to give your body time to recove. It took a big blow. You could in danger you and your future baby by getting pregnant too quickly after a miscarriage.

Hey! I'm in the same situation. I was told I should wait three to four months before trying again. I noticed you're young like me [: I'm nineteen. It's nice to know that I'm not the only young women who wants a family. The first pregnancy wasn't planned, but I began to love the idea of being a mother though the experience. I would love to talk to you more if you'd like. My e-mail adress is ChelleV@YMail.com. Feel free to e-mail me. I'd love to hear from you! Good luck sweetie!

This is something you should discuss with your doctor.
