Is it bad to lay on your right side while pregnant

I heard fromfriends that have children that there are major veins that can be damaged from sleeping on the right side. These ladies say that it could kill me, the baby or both of us! How true is that?

Soooooo not true!  I slept on my back, belly, both sides...etc.  and all my kids came out perfectly healthy, and as u can see, I am still alive...

I don't think this is the case.  I can only sleep on my right side (even with my first child) and so far we are all good :)

 I asked my doc  that question, she said as ling as your body aalows you can sleep however you feel comfortable.
