Barely visible second line..
Barely visible second line..
I just took an at home pregnancy test and the one line came out dark blue and the results window has a very faint line.. you can barely see it but it is there.. is this still a positive result?! Should I take another test and see if it comes out more visible or go ahead and tell the bf and show him the one I already have.. or maybe wait and take one first thing in the morning?? Just wanted some advice.. we have two little ones and I know that there is no possibility that he is even considering it a possibility to be expecting again so soon.. we have a 19 month old and a 10 week old.. dont need to stress either of us if its not definitly positive since the second line was very faint.. thanks for the input..

This is my 4th pregnancy and this was the only one that showed up faint like that. It was really a positive though because I'm now 34 weeks. If it would make you feel better then I would definitely take another and see if it comes out any darker. I can tell you though that just because it is barely visible doesn't mean it is false. I hope this helps. Good luck and hope you get the results you want :)
I had a faint line on my test a week after I missed my period and I am 29 weeks now. Two lines is a positive, no matter how dark or light the lines are. You might want to wait a few more days and see if the line gets darker, but I think you are pregnant again.
My sister-in-law is in your same position and she took another test yesterday and it was positive.
Hope this helps. Congrats!
newmommy11 thanks.. I cant even imagine being pregnant again lol.. but we are going to do another test tomorrow and see since I have no clue how far along I would be because with my son only being 10 weeks old I never did get a period again after having him.. thanks and tell your sister in law congrats too =)

No such thing as a false positive. Preg tests test the hCG levels in your urine which are only produced from a fertilized egg. As scary as I'm sure it sounds to you, you are def prego again! You said you have a 10 week old? My doctor told me it is extremely easy to get pregnant after giving birth so there you go! After I gave birth, I didn't want to get preg, but I didn't want to get on birth control while nursing so I use vaginal contraceptive film (with spermicide) and its worked like a charm so far....I would highly recommend it after you give birth to this one lol! Congrats and best of luck!
I had a very faint line after 1 iui. Tested 3days before missed period. When I went in for blood work on the day my period was suppose come, they called me back and said I was preggo BUT my levels were really low, and to just be aware I could be having an early miscarrage. Went in2days later levels stayed the same, meaning I did have a miscarrage. Not to cause any alarm for you, but You should get blood work done. Preggo tests are so advanced and sensitive these days a faint line can mean you tested early, levels are low ect..best solution is to get blood test :) Im Going in for second iui as soon as I get my next period.
I took 6 tests prior going to the doctor and all the lines making up the postive sign were extremely faint. I just found out Im 4-6 wks along! I had the same question though when taking my test, even when I took them first thing in the am, the one line was a lot lighter. I hope this helps! Good Luck!!!!
