Your cervix will dilate in its own time. Not having sex won't really affect what happens. On the other hand, having sex can help your cervix to ripen (get softer) which may help you dilate faster.
omg....i'm rolling my eyes at this stupid question. your cervix is going to dilate on it's own. sex and walking help a lot. try bouncing on an exercise ball. that's what helped me get from 3cm to 5cm in a matter of 2 days.
