crazy dream
crazy dream
I'm currently pregnant with my 4th child. I have 4 boys and hoping for a girl this time. I'm 5wks and 5 days along. Last april 5, 2011 my brother in law passed away. he was my husband's brother. A few days ago, my mother in law had a dream about him. he told my mother in law that I am going to have a girl and name her emily. I was so overjoyed, scared, anxious, and just stunned at this. I don't know much about dreams or what they mean. If anyone could explain or suggest or even just comment, it would be greatly appreciated! thanks

when i was pregnant with my first daughter, my mother in law had a dream that i would give birth to a curly red-headed girl. ta-da! that's exactly what i had! my husband had a similar dream while i was still pregnant-we would have a little red-headed girl named paisley elizabeth. he woke me up at 3 am and said, "we're having a girl, and we will name her, "paisley elizabeth pain". while pregnant with my second daughter, i had a vivid dream about 2 little girls playing together in the front yard. i knew from that moment on, i was having another girl. wow, 4 boys? i don't how you do it, sweetie! i wanted 2 girls sooo badly, and i thank god every day for the gifts he blessed us with. people would say, "you want another girl? why not one of each?" i retort back with, "i have 2 male pit bulls, that's enough stinky boys for me!"
Oh my gosh! I'm crying as I'm reading this! Oh I'm so overjoyed! You have no idea how happy you have made by this! I hope this little baby is a girl :)
Boys aren't easy. lol. but they always know how to make me smile during my rough days. I love them dearly though. Pluse we have 5 dogs. lol. 3 males and 2 females. So we need another female in here! lol.
Thank you again for answering and commenting!!!
i have 3 pits. 2 boys, and 1 girl. my female got knocked up and we ended up with 9 puppies. 11 dogs total! and this was only 2 weeks before my daughter's 1st birthday. you certainly have your hands full! i tell everyone that i'm a mother of 5. i have two 2 leggers, and three 4 leggers! my dogs are spoiled rotten to the core. they all sleep in bed, and sit at the dinner table, lol.
With my last pregnancy my mother-in-law had a dream that I'd have a little girl with curly blonde hair. She was partially right, I did have a girl. I had lots of dreams about having twins, but that definitely didn't happen.
I don't put a lot of stock in dreams. A lot of times, especially when it comes to babies they're more a reflection of our hopes and not what will actually happen.
Thanks VforVenture. Yea I'm trying not to get my hopes up that it's going to be a girl. not sure if you ever did those chinese gender predictor charts or anything of that sort, but i did 8 of them and they all said i'm having a girl. But time will tell. As long as the baby is healthy, that's all that really matters :)
I hope I didn't bum you out or anything. I just know that it's better to wait and see what happens. I did do use the Chinese lunar calendar and it was right for all three of my kids. I kept getting different results and had a hard time figuring out my lunar age so I eventually found a site that had a calculator that figured it out for you. I don't remember the name of the site or anything (sorry!) but I do know that it was correct for all three.
I've also heard that a method using red cabbage works well to predict the gender. You boil red cabbage and then pee in the water. The water will change color depending on the pH of your urine. I don't remember which color means which gender though. You could google it.
