Sometimes it's nice to get advice from experts with a lot of letter degrees behind their names, but other times, you just need to hear what another parent (with a M.O.M. behind her name) has done that has worked. You've got questions? These moms have answers.

finding a playgroup

i have a three year old and a one year old and i want to find them a playgroup so they can socialize more. they are very aggressive children and i think if they socialize with kids that aren't related to them it will teach them to mellow out a little, but i just cannot seem to locate one. i have tried googling it and while i found "meetup", it wasn't what i was looking for. i just want some advise on a website i could possible find other moms in my area(which is greenville, sc) or just in general find something. I don't have time to just go to a park and start socializing as i work and i wouldn't feel comfortable anyway. thanks

Ask your pediatrician. They often know about moms groups and play groups and can point you in the right direction. You can also try searching for something on Facebook or in the activities section on craigslist.
