Sometimes it's nice to get advice from experts with a lot of letter degrees behind their names, but other times, you just need to hear what another parent (with a M.O.M. behind her name) has done that has worked. You've got questions? These moms have answers.

You'll need to talk to your doctor about this. The time it takes for your body to return to normal after any hormonal birth control is different for every woman.

I had implanon removed one month ago, my doctor (and implanon's website) says you can get pregnant immediately, even before your first period.I haven't had a period yet and I did a pregnancy test which came out negative, but I guess it may be a little early for either...A lot of people seem to get pregnant very quickly after removal, but everyone's different.  Wish me luck?  x

I had been on implanon for 2 years and I got off implanon on Valentines Day Feb 14, 2013 as a gift to my husband because he had been wanting a second child for about 2 years now! I was finally ready but I thought that it would take at least 6 months so we decided not to expect anything to happen quickly, just enjoy the ride! I got pregnant in April 2013! I found out in May because my period was late and I took 3 tests to make sure the first test wasn't playing tricks on me haha! We were so shocked and happy and still are! It didn't take us long at all! I like to think that my little one was thinking "mom I've been waiting long enough and I'm not waiting any longer"! Lol Good luck to everyone trying to conceive! My tip to everyone is don't expect it to happen, don't only have sex (make love) just to get pregnant, have found and actually enjoy it and it will happen in no time :)
