help with halloween costume

My daughter is 7 months old and she has a Christmas dress (bought last year when I was pregnant) that would be perfect as a queen of hearts costume with a few additions. I need to know what kind of adhesive would work best to add playing cards to the fabric without ruining it. I still want her to wear it at Christmas. I thought about fabric glue but I don't think that's removable. I don't really know tho. Any suggestions?

Nothing that will hold them on well enough for Halloween will come off without ruining the fabric. Fabric glues aren't meant to come off, and anything else you could use will not hold and will also damage the fabric. So, the dress will either have to be a costume, or a Christmas dress. It really can't be both.
