How to deal with bratty little girls/??????

My daughter tiffany is spoiled, It's my fault. She is the only child so she is used to getting whatever she wants, she is normally a very well behaved little girl but she has her moments. She has been a brat for the last few months,she has a horrible attitude, she throws horrid tantrums,I don't know what to do. I have tried time out,grounding,taking toys away. Nothing works. She is 5, it might be a phase, I just don't know if I can take anymore of it.

well first off you cant give her whatever she wants, she needs to work for the things she wants so that she will appericate them. And you need to tell her no and be serious, if you take away something dont give it back, even if she crys, she needs to know that your serious, your the mom and she cant just walk all over you. Trust me ive been there i know exactly what you are talking about. For time outs put her somewhere where she cant do anything, like she cant see the tv and if other people are around she gets put where there isnt anyone around because she is going to think its a joke. Hope i helped! you could also watch super nanny LOL

Have there been any big changes or new stresses in her life? If so, that could explain the change in her behavior. If not, you just need to set appropriate boundaries and consequences, and stay consistent with them. She'll grow out of the behavior eventually as long as you're consistent.
