Sometimes it's nice to get advice from experts with a lot of letter degrees behind their names, but other times, you just need to hear what another parent (with a M.O.M. behind her name) has done that has worked. You've got questions? These moms have answers.

How difficult is breastfeeding, really?

I am 26 weeks, and would like to breastfeed my daughter almost exclusively, with only some supplementing with the newborn formula, as I would prefer not pump. How hard is it, really, to breastfeed? I am planning to sign up for the breasfeeding class given by my local hospital prior to giving birth.

I exclusively breastfeed my now 4 1/2 month old son. I love it! Best advice I can give is to read up and gain as much information before baby arrives. I liked the book, The Essential Guide to Breastfeeding. It can be difficult at first, but if you're determined ... stick to it and it'll work out. Having a partner who supports you in this helps a lot as well.
