How do I use the cutout templates for the amazing birthday cakes?

I am interested in making the Dinosaur birthday cake but I can't help but wonder how I'm supposed to use the cutout template? Is there a way for me to scale it to actual size?

For my daughters first birthday, I made her a princess cake from this website, and I was having a lot of trouble with it so I went  to the bakery and they showed me how to do it. I don't know if that helps, but it worked for me. Good Luck! :)

you will probably need to take it to a copy shop to enlarge it.
