How to help these headaches.

How to help these headaches.

I am 13 weeks pregnant with my second child. I never remember having headaches with my first pregnancy, but I have been having horrible headaches for about 3 weeks now. Is anyone else having this problem and if so what are you doing to help them? I am so sick of them that I could just scream.

Make sure you're drinking enough water. It's easy to get dehydrated during the summer. Depending on where you live, you might need as much as an entire gallon of water every day. Also make sure you're eating a balanced diet. Make sure your electrolytes are in balance. Try drinking some Gatorade during the day. Also make sure you aren't overheating. Last summer, I would get a big headache every time I walked outside because the transition from air conditioning to the heat outside was too great. As far as medications are concerned, only Tylenol is safe during pregnancy. If your headaches persist, make sure you talk to your doctor. Headaches or migraines can be a sign of a more serious problem.
