how long do you have to wait to try and concieve ?

I got a dermoid cyst removed laparoscopically from my right ovary on January 30th 2012 about 36 days ago.... I only have one child and she is now 3 years old, and me and my husband were trying to concieve before they told me i had the cyst and that it had to be removed,,, So im wondering do any of you ladys know how long i have to wait to start trying to concieve again..??
