I'm 35 weeks pregnant, and have server pain all over. normal?

I get sharp pains in my legs around the croch area, lower and upper back pains plus cramps in the abdominal area, my cousin who is a nurse says this is my body preparing for labour. has anyone else had the same thing? and what did you do to help ease it? help! =)

I had severe pain as well with my second pregnancy. I had sharp pain that felt like electric shocks shooting up through my pelvic area, my lower back was in agony, and I had Braxton Hicks contractions which are probably the cramps you feel. It will go away...after you've had the baby :-/ Good luck.
