Im 5 weeks prego but my hcg level says i'm only 2-3 weeks why?

I am supposed to be 5 weeks pregnant (6) on December 6, 2011 however my HCG level says that I am only about 2-3 weeks. The doctor has yet to explain anything to me and I am very worried that something is wrong. I have some cramping (feels like my period) but nothing severe. My LMP was October 24, 2011. I've had 8 positive pregnancy tests and 0 negative ones. So why would my levels be so low?

Hormone levels vary from woman to woman. There are averages, but every pregnancy is different. If you have concerns please talk to your doctor and ask any questions you may have.

You could just have lower hcg. Or you could ovulate on a different schedule than most women. going by your period is not always the most accurate way to date a pregnancy
