Sometimes it's nice to get advice from experts with a lot of letter degrees behind their names, but other times, you just need to hear what another parent (with a M.O.M. behind her name) has done that has worked. You've got questions? These moms have answers.

Sorry to chuckle but you sound like my husband. If I'm feeding my almost 13 month old and my husband is home he hovers and makes sure my son's food is cut up small enough. As long as your son is able to eat and swallow I wouldn't worry too much. Avoid foods that are choking hazards like grapes and hot dogs.  Make sure you cut his food up in small bites, if he does well with those you can make them a little bigger. It is so easy for us as mothers to worry over our children. Our job is to help our children grow up to become independent adults. Take one step at a time. :)
