I am in my first trimester of my first pregnancy, and lately when I can actually go #2, I notice a small amount of blood on the toilet paper when I wipe. Is it hemorrhoids?

It could be. It could also be a small fissure, which is basically an anal tear. They happen when bowel movements are large and/or difficult to get out, which often happens as a result of the high amount of iron in prenatal vitamins. If you're having pain and/or lots of bleeding you should see your doctor immediately.
