no.. my tattoo artist will not even think of doing a tattoo for you if you are pregnant.. something about it causes stress on the mom which then stresses the baby

Absolutley not, you can't even get something pierced, if an artist would even consider doing it they should be fired. It's extremely dangerous, it's really stressful on your body, even if you don't think it is. It will stress you out and could cause problems with the baby, you only have to wait for a few months.

I agree that it sounds like a bad idea. I haven't heard either way but it definitely sounds like something that would be a no no.

I wanted to get one in my first trimester, but my doctor said it will get infected WAY easier when you're pregnant. So will piercings.

no it's not going to hurt you or the baby. my husband is a tattoo artist, so i am well informed. as long as you are not getting any work done on or around your belly. arms, legs, and feet should be ok. you may want to avoid the back.
