Sometimes it's nice to get advice from experts with a lot of letter degrees behind their names, but other times, you just need to hear what another parent (with a M.O.M. behind her name) has done that has worked. You've got questions? These moms have answers.

Is it ok to give my daughter Pedialyte?

My daughter will be 1 on the 18th and she has had diarrhea for about a day and a half. She is eating and drinking pretty well, (I'm pretty sure she has diarrhea due to teething). But I was wondering if it's ok to give her Pedialyte. Any of you mom's have advice?

You can give her some if you want, but don't give more than a few ounces. But unless she's showing other symptoms of illness I wouldn't worry too much as long as she's eating and drinking normally. Babies go through phases sometimes, I know my son will have a day or two of diarrhea-like poops and it usually passes quickly.

You can give it to her,but like V said don't give her more than a few ounces.  Its mostly for kids with the flu or a stomach virus, if shes not sick and shes eating and drinking enough then you shouldn't worry.
