is it possible to not produce the HCG hormone?

my last period was may 16 more or less. i did not get my period for the month of june. i have been feeling many strange symptoms and i dont know why. constant peeing like every 15 minutes, constipation, very emotional sometime crying for no reason. but only at night time, which causes me to not be able to fall asleep when i know im exhausted. nauseas, slight on and off cramping near my ovaries and my ankles. my breasts sometimes are sore and a tingly feeling around my nipple.. i took a pregnancy test on the 4th of july but came out negative. still havent had any sign of my period. i dont know what to think. is it all in my head or can i still be pregnant? help me please.. ease my mind.

Is it possible for a woman to not produce HCG? I don't know, maybe. Is it possible to be pregnant and not producing HCG? No. It is possible to produce a low level of the hormone, which would give false negatives on pregnancy tests. The level of HCG also start to drop off after the first trimester, so home pregnancy tests aren't reliable later in pregnancy. If you think you might be pregnant you should see your doctor for a blood test.
