Is it safe to ride roller coasters at 5 weeks pregnant?

Planned a trip to Great America before I found out I am pregnant. My last period was July 4, 2011, so that makes me about 5 weeks pregnant. If I can't ride the big rides, is it safe to take my daughter and ride the kiddie rides with her?

Yes it's fine if you feel ok.

I would avoid the big roller coasters but small children's rides should be fine. Just pay attention to how you feel and don't do anything that will raise your heartbeat too much, release adrenaline, etc.

It says to not ride the rides if you are pregnant. I would ask your doctor and see what they think.
