is it safe to take hydrocodone during pregnancy?

is it safe to take hydrocodone during pregnancy?

I have frequent migraines, sometimes two or more a week. Hydrocodone is the only thing that will relieve my pain & I would like to know if it is safe for my baby to take it.

No, it's not safe. You need to talk to your doctor about this. Tylenol was the only thing that I was allowed to take during pregnancy.

You definietly need to talk to your doctor about safe ways to relieve your migraines. Most medications are not safe during pregnancy. Drugs like vicodin and percocet were thought to be safe and are occasionally prescribed by doctors, but new studies are finding they may cause birth defects, specifically heart problems.
