Sometimes it's nice to get advice from experts with a lot of letter degrees behind their names, but other times, you just need to hear what another parent (with a M.O.M. behind her name) has done that has worked. You've got questions? These moms have answers.

Making out my child to look bad

0 answers
I have two children. They are 8 and 10 years old. Every Halloween we hook up with the same family, they have three kids, to go trick or treating, because our oldest two are best friends. They live out of town and bring their children in for this event! This year, my oldest asked only his best friend to come in. My youngest child is not friends with any of these children, so he made plans to hang out with his own friends. The Parents were not happy that the younger siblings were excluded. I stood by my child's decision to only invite his friend over and I told him that I would take the heat if there was any. Well...there was heat and they make it sound like my child has no value in friendships. Was it so wrong that my child just wanted to go with the buddy??
