my placenta is in the front of my belly, will i feel my baby move?

during my 23 week check up the doctor asked if i was feeling my baby move. I told her very little and she informed me that my placenta was in the front of my belly and that its pretty normal. Will I feel the baby move as it gets bigger or will the placenta block me and others from feeling it?

Yes, you will feel your baby move more as it grows. It will be longer before other people can feel your baby move, and it will probably only happen with very hard kicks and punches. Your baby will also twist and turn and will not always be facing out. You will be able to feel more movements when your baby kicks your bladder (which is often very uncomfortable) and other organs. Of course, other people will not be able to feel those movements.
