Is not gaining weight as bad as gaining too much?

Is not gaining weight as bad as gaining too much?

I have an ulcer and i was constantly sick when i found out i was pregnant. With the ulcer i had no appetite and had to force myself to eat once a day. My weight was a roller coaster ride. I was 155 before i got pregnant, got down to 134 and now im 7 mos and back at 155. Im worried this will effect my baby.

have you talked to your doc? I've always heard you shouldn't try and lose weight during pregnancy, but I've had many friends/family that have- unintentionally. Our bodies go through such a roller coaster as it is. Obviously you need to be getting nutrition but it sounds like you are back to normal more.

I wouldn't worry too much but do keep taking the vitamins you need and eating a healthy diet. Talk to your doc too.
