you can try to make the transition more fun by him by maybe making a chart,and everytime he uses the potty put a sticker and when he gets so many he can get to go to his favourite place or get a toy etc.Or you can try getting a training seat that can be put on a regular toilet.My 3yr old prefers that than a potty her size,she likes to flush haha
