risk of miscarriage?
risk of miscarriage?
so i'm 20 and 6 weeks pregnant with my first. i'm pretty healthy myself, but the baby's dad used to smoke and drink a lot and even used to be into heavy drugs. my mother had a miscarriage at about my age with her first baby. does this increase my chances to miscarry? i'm really worried, because i want this baby more than anything :)

The father's activities aren't a concern, unless he was smoking heavily around you. I have heard that miscarridge can be genetic, but have never seen any proof of it myself. All you can do it take care of yourself, and remember that you are half way thourgh that worst part. 6 more weeks and your risk drops significantly!
