Sometimes it's nice to get advice from experts with a lot of letter degrees behind their names, but other times, you just need to hear what another parent (with a M.O.M. behind her name) has done that has worked. You've got questions? These moms have answers.

I was told that to help with engorgement to try putting cabbage leaves in your bra.. something about it will help with drying up the milk and the coldness of the cabbage leaves helps with the engorgement.. you will just walk around smelling like cooked cabbage lol.. but as I have went through the engorgement anything is better then hurting.. I was also told by a lactation consultant to take hot showers and the warmth would make you leak too and this would help relieve some of the milk that was causing the engorgement.. hope this helps hun
