Sometimes it's nice to get advice from experts with a lot of letter degrees behind their names, but other times, you just need to hear what another parent (with a M.O.M. behind her name) has done that has worked. You've got questions? These moms have answers.

Teething or not?

My 8 month old went through a week long diarrhea spell. She has gotten over that, but now she seems extremely needy, pulls at her ears while falling asleep and drinking a bottle and WILL NOT sleep through the night. She is up every hour for usually 15 minutes and then wakes up at 4:00 and is usually wide awake until 6:00 am (when it's time for me to get ready for work) It is extremely exhausting. (this has gone on for about 2 weeks now) She has even bit my sister on the chest, needless to say - she has no teeth.. yet. Is this considered teething? And, if so, what should I do? Thanks in advance, The tired mommy that just wants some sleep!

She could be teething, it's hard to say. Get some teething tablets to give her when she's fussy and/or not sleeping. If nothing else, they will help with that. (They're homeopathic, so there's no way to overdose on them. Just wait about 30 minutes to give them time to work.)
