Want to save money on baby products?
Want to save money on baby products?
This isn't spam (I promise!), it's just a suggestion for those who could use a little savings when it comes to diapers, wipes, cleaning products, etc.
Check out The Honest Company at honest.com. They have an online store, or you can set up monthly shipments. (You can also change your ship date each month if you don't need things that often.) Their monthly Diaper and Family Essentials Bundles are extremely affordable, especially since the products are all organic. For a month's supply of diapers it's only $79.95, and the wipes are free. 5 cleaning/bath products are only $35.95 a month.
Everything is made from organic, plant-based ingredients, which are super gentle but clean really well. My baby has sensitive skin, she'll get diaper rash from other brands of wipes, even organic ones. She has eczema too, and I hate to think what it would be like if we were using regular products that are loaded with harsh chemicals. The diapers are incredibly absorbent. My baby only goes through 3-4 a day, so a month's supply usually lasts us 2 months. And, the diapers come in really cute patterns, which I always thought was stupid. But, now that I can get eco-friendly diapers that are cute, I won't go back to the plain with or grocery-bag brown diapers!
Finally, because they believe in their products, they give you free samples. Just pay $4.95 shipping and you can try the diapers, wipes, and other products. Try them for a week and if you don't like them, you're not obligated to buy anything. I took a chance on their stuff and I'm so happy I did!

i have checked out the honest website, and it looks promising. i usually order from diapers.com, because i save more money buying the diapers in bulk from them, rather than purchasing them from wal mart. technically, it's cheaper for me to order from diapers.com than honest.com. i spend around $50, and their supply lasts me nearly 2 months. i don't use wipes, because both of my children are severely allergic. we use a warm, wet washcloth instead. miamomma, if you are trying to save money on formula, go to your local health dept, and see if you qualify for WIC. they will supply you with formula, rice cereal, and baby food. i save far more money on cleaning products by mixing my own. i use vinegar and water instead of lysol, etc. so $30 on cleaning procuts would really be a waste for us. i don't spend that much on cleaning stuff in 2 or 3 months. i buy a big bottle of baby soap at wal mart for just under $3, which will last us a couple of months. i mix my own laundry detergent together, as well, and it lasts me 6-8 months. thanks for the info, though. i'm sure a lot of people will be able to benefit from it.
