Although I haven't yet had my baby (I'm due July 17th) I found a few sites that might be helpful to you.

Hopefully these help you and congratulations!
When i packed mine. I had a pair on strechy pants for me and lose fitting shirt. oh and also my brush, toothbrush toothpaste socks slippers deorant and pads And for the baby I pack the following
Binky
outfit to bring him home in
outfit for he's pictures
2 blankets (for the ride home)
socks
Little slippers
hat
daipers
i agree youga pants are the best but keep in mind that diapers wipes blankets clothes and cleaning care products are normaly provided for the baby by the hospital you stay at... also keep in mind that if you are having a normal birth that you will need makeup (if you wear it) and posibly a hair tie cuz trust me you can end up looking like you were ran over by a train after lol.
If you are having a c-sec. like i will be this next time i would pack a seprate over night bag for your selfe with travel size shampoo cond., soap, lotion, face wash ( i recomend somthing that will wake you up and make your face feel fresh) there will be alot of picture taking im sure,
Most of all make sure you have it ready by atleast 30wks i got put in the hospial at 32 and i was not prepaird and my hunny bless his heart had to make like 5 trips to the house to get stuff together for me...good luck and dont sress it too bad the hospital will not let you or your baby go without :-)
Some thing is lip balm as your lips may (and most likey will) get very dry during labour. A book or magazine as if labour's slowly going along (and you can't sleep gives you something to do) and also after babe's born. If you are not sleeping and don't have company then you may want something to pass the time. This of course all depends on how long you are they. My first I was there 4 days with a complete natural birth, second 1 1/2 days and my third only 12 hours. So it really depends.
Yes, I agree have your bag ready to go by 30 weeks. Easier on everyone and gives you a peace of mind too.
