When to take a pregnancy test

My periods come at different times and never are the same each month. I had sex two weeks ago and didn't use anything I had some very light color bleeding But it stops and then does it again for like a hour then goes away And my periods are usally heavy not light and am pretty sure this isn't my Period. So how would I know when to take a pregnancy test and will It be right... Please help

If it's been two weeks, you should be ok to take a pregnancy test and get a reliable answer.
