Sometimes it's nice to get advice from experts with a lot of letter degrees behind their names, but other times, you just need to hear what another parent (with a M.O.M. behind her name) has done that has worked. You've got questions? These moms have answers.

My 2 1/2 year (almost 3) old flirts when we are in public. She tells boys/men that she loves them. It just started and it infuriates my husband. Has this happened to anyone else and what can you do about it?

Sounds like she may be repeating behavior modeled for her elsewhere. What movies/television shows does she like to watch?  Children only repeat behaviors when they like the response they get. Your daughter cannot understand the concept of flirting and its implications and motives as you do at her age. Try not to get too upset. Your reaction may send the wrong message that she's "on to something" here she needs to pursue. Ignore and minimize your response, and be militant about what you allow her to be exposed to in the media. The eyes are the windows to the soul. This situation could be an indicator her natural temperament is easily susceptible to media influences.
