Swelling during labor and after how to prevent it?!?

During both of my labors I have had very bad vaginal swelling is there anything I can take or do to avoid this with further pregnancies?

well what I did I tried to stay of my feet as much as possible and keep them well elevated. Drink plenty of water and make sure you go to pee; it talke all of the water off of you or ask your doctor if you can take water pills

Ice packs. For my daughter they have me maxi pads soaked in water and frozen. It helped take the swelling down, and helped with the pain.
