Umbilical cord not in the right spot?

I'm 20 weeks and 5 days and when I went for my ultra sound on Monday the tech said that she wanted me to come back in a month because the baby wouldn't let them get clear pictures of his spine and the Umbilical cord was up higher then it should be so they need to make sure the baby is getting everything it needs. Has anyone had this happen before? She really didn't explain much about it.

I have never heard of it before. I am sorry to hear that things aren't going perfect. I know every woman wants their pregnancy to go perfectly. I would definitely ask as many questioned as I wanted when you go back so that you have some answers. Maybe the cord will be in the right spot and they just didn't get a good look since they couldn't with his spine either. I hope all turns out for the best sweetie. Good luck :)
