Our doctor told us the risk was less than 1%. It's still a risk though.
They have two numbers for the risk of an amnio. It is either 1 in 200 women have a miscarriage or 1 in 400 will. Risk of miscarraige for CVS is 3 to 5%. If I was you I wouldn't even bother with these two tests. It is too risky even with low numbers.
