Sometimes it's nice to get advice from experts with a lot of letter degrees behind their names, but other times, you just need to hear what another parent (with a M.O.M. behind her name) has done that has worked. You've got questions? These moms have answers.

I know this is not the answer you're looking for but I'm pretty sure there is nothing you can do... Its going to happen when it happens! I know for me I was 2 days over due and every hour felt like a lifetime. Then one morning I woke up and went to the bathroom and poof...my water breaks! So just be patient it will happen when its supposed to! Take some advice from me, cherish these last few days with your signifigant other... it wont be just the two of you for a long while to come, and when it is its not the same cause the little one is always on your mind!! Good luck to you! I hope it happens soon!!

I know to speed up the labor process you can start softening your cervix now by sitting on a birthing ball.  Sit on the ball and move your hips around in circles to get the babys head to massage the cervix.  When labor starts you will dilate faster. I think this works bc it worked for me with my children.
